Getting to Diever

 By car:

 - A car is recommended though not essential (rental cars also available at the airports mentioned) with easy access to the towns of Hoogeveen (20 minutes), Assen (25 minutes), Emmen (45 minutes) & the city of Groningen (40 minutes)

 

- Diever is easily accessible by car in approximately 2 hours from the following airports in the Netherlands: Amsterdam Schiphol, Rotterdam and Eindhoven

 

 By Air:

 - Most major international airlines serve Amsterdam, including the national carrier, KLM (& partners) from most cities

 

 - Budget airlines to Amsterdam (from the UK & Ireland) include: easyjet (from Belfast, Bristol, Doncaster, Dublin, Edinburgh, Liverpool & London Gatwick, Luton, Stansted), flybe (from Exeter & Southampton) and Jet2 (from Leeds/Bradford)

 

 - Rotterdam has a direct service from London City (with Cityjet)

 

 - Eindhoven is served by Ryanair (from London Stansted)

 

 - Maastricht has flights with Ryanair (from London Stansted)

 

 - Due to our proximity to Germany, Duesseldorf Weeze (just over the German border by Nijmegen) is only 90 minutes away. Ryanair flies to Weeze from Edinburgh & London Stansted. Also, easyjet flies to Dortmund (from London Luton) and to Duesseldorf (from London Gatwick)

 

 By Ferry:

 - If you are travelling by ferry to the Netherlands, Diever is approximately a 2-hour drive from all 3 main port. These include Rotterdam Europort (P&O Ferries from Hull), the Hoek of Holland (Stena Line from Harwich) & Amsterdam/Ijmuiden (DFDS Seaways from Newcastle)

 

By Public Transport:

- Public transport (bus) is just a few minutes walk away with links to the surrounding villages and towns. The nearest train station is at Beilen (20 minutes away) with direct services to Groningen (30 minutes) & Amsterdam Airport (2 hours).
